Below are the guidelines we ask our clients to follow. These guidelines help ensure a safe environment for our service partners and set clear expectations with our clients so we can continue offering excellent service for years to come.

Our Team: Our role is to schedule, train (cleaning services exclusively), and coordinate services with trusted partner companies and providers. We do not directly manage the team performing the services, but we work with third-party companies capable of meeting the highest standards—yours. Our job is to act as the interface between the client and the service providers, ensuring that the home is maintained and organized according to the family’s needs. This prevents frustrations caused by communication difficulties, particularly due to language barriers and scheduling conflicts. LoveNhome ensures that everything is done and communicated between the homeowners and their service providers.

Refundable Set-Up Fee: Your home must be accessible for the service providers to perform the scheduled work. If the service cannot be carried out at the scheduled time due to lack of access, locked doors, uncontained animals, or other restrictions, and the service is canceled at that moment, a fee of 50% of the service rate will be charged. The set-up fee will be paid to the third-party company or to LoveNhome, which will subsequently pay the service provider. If you choose to leave the door unlocked or place a key in an unsecured location, LoveNhome is not responsible for any damages or theft.

Security System: If your home has a security system, please ensure it is turned off on the day of the scheduled service or provide us with the code and instructions to deactivate it. The system will be rearmed after the service is completed, if requested. LoveNhome is not responsible for alarms triggered by mistake.

Damages & Breakage: We ask that valuable or fragile items be removed from areas to be cleaned or that you instruct us to avoid specific areas. Any damage or breakage caused by the service provider will be reported to you, and a fair solution will be sought with the service provider. However, LoveNhome is not liable for any broken or damaged items.

About Insurance: It is unrealistic to expect cleaning companies to carry insurance that covers the value of items and equipment present in luxury homes. Even when they have insurance, it is rarely enough to cover the high costs and risks associated with valuable items. We recommend that these items be included in the existing insurance policies for the residence. What we do offer is background checks for all professionals involved in the services we coordinate.

Safety: For safety reasons, third-party service providers cannot move heavy objects (over 9 kg) or climb ladders with more than two steps. They also do not clean floors on their knees, except in small bathrooms. Heavy objects should be moved by the client before the service.

Payment & Tips: Full payment is required upon completion of the service. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and checks, and we can set up automatic payments. The outstanding balance must be paid before the next service. Tips are optional but appreciated, and 100% of tips go to the service provider. Mark the money left as a tip, or call us to add the amount to credit card payments.

Price Increases: LoveNhome reserves the right to adjust prices at any time with advance notice. A price adjustment may also occur if the conditions or needs of your home change.

Arrival Time: Service providers work between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The arrival time is estimated within a two-hour window, except for the first appointment of the day (8:00 – 9:00 AM). Unforeseen circumstances may affect the scheduled time. Providers may need to stay beyond 5 PM to complete the service if necessary.

Materials: Third-party service providers bring their own equipment and cleaning supplies according to the agreement.

Add-on Services (for cleaning services): Our third-party team, upon receiving instructions, can perform additional tasks as long as they feel capable, without extra costs, but only adding more hours to the work schedule. LoveNhome offers services like carpet cleaning, mold removal, fire or water damage cleanup; however, these services are performed by different companies than the regular home cleaning teams.

Rescheduling: We offer the option to reschedule the service with at least 48 hours’ notice. Otherwise, a fee of 50% of the service rate will be charged unless it is deemed a bona fide emergency.

Service Frequency & Rates:

  • Weekly Service: If a weekly service is skipped and resumed on a later date, the rate may be adjusted to include 50% of the additional cost on the next visit.
  • Bi-Weekly Service: If you skip a bi-weekly service, the next service will include the bi-weekly rate plus 50% of the skipped service rate.
  • Monthly Service: If a monthly service is skipped, the next service will include the monthly rate plus 50% of the skipped service rate.

Termination: LoveNhome may terminate the contracts with third-party companies serving your home at any time with prior written notice. The company may also terminate the contract at any time with written notice. We reserve the right to deny or terminate service due to safety concerns, discomfort, weapons on-site, severe clutter, or lack of utilities. Providers may leave if they feel the situation is unsanitary or unsafe.

Pets: We love pets! Let us know if you have pets and provide useful information. We prefer that pets are kept away from areas being cleaned. The cleaning team is not trained to care for sick pets or handle pet accidents.

LoveNhome Employees: Our third-party service partners are not available for direct hire outside of LoveNhome. Any attempt to hire our service providers directly will result in a $2,500 fee for violating the established contract rules with LoveNhome. This clause applies for up to 12 months after the provider’s relationship with us ends.

Since cleaning is a very personal and subjective service, it is essential to provide feedback within 24 hours of the completed service so we can quickly adjust and resolve any issues.

Referrals: We offer $20 off one service for every referral that results in a recurring service booking.
